UN Women Conference
From Tuesday the 6th November to Friday the 9th, Limbe Bureau was attending UN Women Conference for the kings and Chiefs of East and Southern Africa which also included religious personalities from the region. It was aimed at addressing two issues namely: EARLY CHILD MARRIAGES and FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION (FGM)
2018 Sisters Camp Report.
The Sisters Camp was held at Blantyre Islamic Mission in Chadzunda from 24th to 27th August 2018 under the theme AGENTS OF CHANGE. It attracted 200 girls from different districts across the country.
Sisters Camp on 15th August 2018
Youth Desk is organizing a Sisters’ Camp targeting 200 Muslim Students from all districts. The objectives are Empowering Muslim sisters to use their dynamism and innovative minds towards improving their lives.
Trade Fair Participation – May 2018
Islamic information Bureau is participating in this year’s Trade Fair. Exhibition will commence from 24th May to 3rd June. We intend to exhibit services that IIB offer and do some dawah to those interested.
Rainbow Youth Tournament
The Rainbow Tournament started on 14th April, it involved 8 teams from 8 townships by the names of Bangwe, Chigumula, Kanjedza, Machinjiri, Chirimba, Mpingwe, Soche & Mbayani.
