Islamic Information Bureau (IIB) conducted a one-day workshop across all its six bureaus (Limbe, Lilongwe, Mangochi, Balaka, Mzuzu, and Ndirande on 30th August 2025.
The workshop brought together Muslim boys from various communities under the theme “Utilization of the Stage of Youth: The Deviation of the Youth, Its Causes and Solutions.”
Building on the success of the first session held in May 2025, this second phase continued IIB’s mission to guide young Muslims toward living purposeful, disciplined, and faith-driven lives. The workshop provided a safe and inspiring environment where participants reflected on the challenges faced by modern youth, examined their causes, and explored practical, Islamic-based solutions.
Main Objectives
The main objectives of the workshop were to:
- Encourage constructive and value-driven use of time and energy.
- Identify common moral and social deviations affecting today’s youth, along with their underlying spiritual and psychological causes.
- Provide practical, faith-based strategies for personal growth, resilience, and positive change inspired by the Qur’an, Hadith, and the wisdom of Islamic scholars.
Through interactive discussions, reflections, and shared learning, participants were reminded that youth is not merely a stage of life, it is a divine opportunity to serve Allah, build strong character, and contribute meaningfully to the Ummah.
