From August 30th to September 2nd IIB hosted the Sisters’ Camp 2024 in Mangochi. This four-day event was a remarkable journey focused on empowerment, personal growth, and fostering sisterhood. Bringing together over 100 young Muslim women from seven districts, the camp served as a platform for enhancing leadership skills, deepening faith, and strengthening Islamic identity.
Among the distinguished guests was Dr. Rabia Haneef, the newly appointed Executive Dean of the School of Business and Economic Sciences. Her session, titled “Embracing Leadership: Cultivating Confidence and Vision,” offered invaluable guidance on developing the skills essential for effective leadership. Her engaging presentation set a powerful tone for the day’s activities, inspiring participants to lead with confidence and clarity.
Throughout the camp, attendees participated in inspiring sessions led by accomplished speakers, gained valuable insights, and built lasting connections. The impact of this camp is expected to resonate within their communities, as participants return home prepared to lead and drive positive change. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this transformative event possible.
