On 16th August 2025, Islamic Information Bureau hosted a one-day empowerment workshop for Muslim adolescent girls in all their six bureaus (Limbe, Ndirande, Lilongwe, Balaka, Mzuzu and Mangochi) under the theme “The Importance of Muslim Youth to the Life of Society.”

This session marked the second phase of the ongoing series, following the initial workshop held in May 2025. The program emphasized the vital role Muslim youth play in the social, economic, and spiritual development of their communities.

Objectives of the workshop aimed at:

  • Enhance Muslim girls’ awareness of their potential and value to society.
  • Encourage active participation in community development guided by Islamic values.
  • Strengthen self-confidence, leadership skills, and moral integrity among participants.

This Phase 2 of the workshop was impactful, enabling Muslim girls to reflect on their societal and spiritual roles and commit to becoming productive, morally upright members of society. Plans for a third phase will assess progress and consolidate lessons learned from previous sessions.
